Answer: The bottle doesn't actually say what country it is made in. What it does say is that it is distributed out of Los Angeles, CA. Not much help, I know. (I'm presuming that the country of origin is China, given the Dynasty brand, but that's just a supposition.) -

Would this be a quality ramen topper?
Answer: I mix this into my ramen soup everyday. The flavor is delicious with just the right amount of heat! -

Is it normal for this jar to not pop upon first opening?
Answer: I have been using this oil for years. Now that you mention it, I do not remember the jar popping like a jar of pickles or such. Perhaps oil does not build up gases? I would say, yes it is normal not to pop imho. Hope this helps. -

Is this made in China?
Answer: Excellent. A must have. You can have mildly spicy using just the oil or kick it up to full spice including the chili flakes too.
