Question:
Is this just for well water or can it be used for a municipal water supply?
Answer: I am currently using it for well water but have used R/O for city water. I was on the board of a sewer plant. We used R/O to recover water from our wastewater. -

What is the difference between the Tap Master TMAFC Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis & the Tap Master TMULTRA ULTRA Reverse Osmosis?
Answer: The TMAFC has our patented remineralization system. The Ultra does not. The Ultra has an IRON prefilter to remove iron from your well water and protect the membrane. It also has a UV filter to sterilize microorganisms. The Artesian Full Contact does not have an IRON prefilter or the UV filter. Our HydroPerfection model #TMHP has all of those features plus a permeate pump to reduce water waste, improve production and make slightly cleaner water. -
Question:
What does 'Full Contact Technology' mean?
Answer: This model does not contain our patented Full Contact remineralization system. Please visit our company website front page for a whiteboard video explaining it, or call for personal service 877-693-7873 M-F 9am to 5pm MST. -
Question:
What is the cost of annual maintenance of filters, membrane, and uv?
Answer: The filters and the UV bulb should be changed annually or as needed (#ISetTMUL-MY12 $105.95), and the membrane every 3-5 years or as needed (#Mem-TFC50 $56.00). -
Question:
Does this (tmultra-erp-l unit come with the anti-microbial tubing?
Answer: I couldn't say if the tubing it comes with is anti-microbial or not for sure but it comes pre-tubed except for the connections to the inlet, outlets and waste water. -
Question:
How water does this waste per gal output? Are there any highly rated ones that are more efficient?
Answer: These types of units often use 3 to 4 gal waste for each gal of pure water. Virtually all RO units become more efficient if you install a permeate pump. A permeate pump uses the waste water to overcome the back pressure of the pure water and cuts waste water by 50 to 80%. Hope this helps. -

Could this be shipped with the Satin Nickel Finish Faucet?
Answer: System can be ordered directly from the manufacturer with your faucet of choice. -

Does the light stay on all the time?
Answer: Not sure what light you are referencing. If you are asking about the blue light on top of one of the canisters - it does. -
Question:
What is the tank made of? Is it plastic or stainless steel?
Answer: The tank is painted with a backed-on white paint. But inside the tank is a bladder to store the water and also on the tank is an air value so you can pump the tank to the required pressure for your water system. I have had this system for 7 years and after the initial setup my plumber has only added air once. He checks it each year when I have him change the filters.
