My First Bohnanza Card Game

The My First Bohnanza card game is designed as a simplified version of the original Bohnanza game, with the intention of making it more accessible to younger players. A reviewer expressed their initial skepticism about the necessity of the game because they already owned the regular version of Bohnanza. However, they found that the kid-appropriate theme and fewer bean varieties added to the appeal. The gameplay was successful with a 4 and 5-year-old, but they noted that it required a significant amount of assistance and may be better suited for slightly older children. Another reviewer, who was a fan of the original Bohnanza, positively embraced the kids' version as a means to introduce the game to their 7 and 5-year-old children. They found that it retained the competitive and strategic elements of the adult version, yet was easier for younger players to understand. One customer praised the game as a great introduction to the bean game for kids and believed it would facilitate an easier transition for children to the adult version. Additionally, a different customer noted that My First Bohnanza was enjoyable for kids of all ages and could be played with various age groups, though younger children might require some assistance. While there were positive comments about the game, a customer cautioned that the minimum age of 4 years might be ambitious and suggested that 5 or 6 years would be more suitable. They also proposed having actual coin tokens instead of using the backs of cards to improve the game's playability for kids. In summary, the My First Bohnanza card game seems to have achieved its objective of providing a kid-friendly version of the original game, allowing younger players to enjoy the competitive and strategic elements while potentially serving as a bridge to the adult version. **
