It is easy to pull and has dimensions of approximately 4.75 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches high. It can be used to switch between two water pumps and to switch between line power and generator power for a 220 well pump, but it is not code-compliant. The switch does not have a center off position and the center poles of a DPDT switch should always be Considered hot/live. It can handle a maximum of 6.25 amps for two solar panels in series and can be used to disconnect a garage door opener from both inside and out on occasion for safety reasons.
