The machine comes with one attachment to make long, flat pasta. While it can make sheets of pasta for folding into bowties, it cannot make shells. To make other shapes, separate attachments have to be purchased from different vendors. Customers have noted that the machine is sturdy, easy to use and kid-friendly. The dough flattens well and cuts easily. However, it can be difficult to clamp to the counter and may require assistance. There have been reports of metal shavings in the dough after use, which is a serious concern. One user reported difficulty cleaning the machine, as pasta gets stuck between the rollers and walls.
