The overall size of the tree may be larger than expected but is still great. The leaves are not suitable for writing on directly but can be laminated and written on with dry-erase markers. The set includes 32 green leaves and autumn leaves that are write-on wipe-off. However, there is not a lot of room on the leaves for writing lengthy messages. The width of the tree when assembled takes up about 3 feet of space. The leaves measure approximately 2 to 2.5 inches. Please note that the leaves have a white border, but it can be cut off if desired. Overall, this is a cute and functional bulletin board tree that teachers can use for various purposes.
