Made of 100% cotton, it is medium weight and has internal ties to secure the duvet insert. The duvet cover comes with button closure and is beautiful in its natural shade of off-white palm leaf. However, based on customers' experiences, the fabric of the duvet is not as soft as some may prefer, and it is not scratchy either. The fabric sheds and requires several washes before use. Unfortunately, one customer received a badly stained product, and another did not receive the ordered shams. Despite the Cons, customers have found it to add texture and softness to their rooms, comparable to their Pottery Barn duvet covers. It is well made and worth every penny, and fits beautifully with a modern farmhouse style of decor.
