Answer: Of course you can never know for a 100% unless you have it tested by an expert! But I think it is the real deal. Compared the material with a 100% sure silk scarf, and it feels the same. The label in the Aviator scarf says: Royal Silk . 100% silk www.RoyalSilkUSA.com. At the back of the label it says Hand wash or dry clean and Made in India. My husband likes to wear the scarf, specially when he has a cold! Good luck with your decision!
