MXR Power Supplies Editorial Review
The MXR DC Brick Power Supply (Model 237) has garnered positive acclaim from musicians and guitar effects hobbyists who appreciate its ability to solve common electrical issues associated with pedal boards. A significant highlight of this product is its capacity to eliminate bothersome hum and distortion, a problem many users faced with lower-quality adapters. Users have reported that switching to the MXR power supply led to immediate improvements in audio clarity across their setups, allowing them to enjoy their music and play their instruments without the interference of noise. Moreover, the MXR Brick stands out for its compact form factor, which not only saves valuable space on pedal boards but also enhances portability for musicians on the go. With multiple 9V and 18V outputs, it provides flexibility in powering a variety of pedals. Musicians have emphasized its affordability compared to competitors, as well as its reliability, reporting no issues even when fully loaded with several pedals. The versatility of the product is appreciated, with several users noting its compatibility with various pedal brands, particularly Boss and MXR. However, there is a minor drawback concerning the variety of power cord sizes, as some users with larger pedal inputs may need to source additional cords. In summary, the MXR DC Brick Power Supply is an excellent investment for musicians seeking a quiet, compact, and reliable power solution for their pedals, exemplifying quality at a reasonable price. **
